No. While it is helpful for athletes to have some basic knowledge of the sport, we will teach fundamentals such as grip, stance, club usage, course management, etc during our season.

No. Both Varsity and JV will only be taking our top 5 golfers to compete in each meet. These golfers are determined by lowest scores on 9 holes and attendance at practice.
On Varsity only meet days, JV golfers will still have practice. If you are not attending a meet, you are welcome to use the driving range to hit balls or set up a tee time to play the course.
We will practice everyday after school unless we have a golf meet. Practices will happen at the Evansville Golf Course and time will be split between the driving range, the putting/chipping green, and the course. You MUST have 3 practices complete before you are eligible to play in a meet.
