The most important school supply you can provide for your child is a good pair of HEADPHONES. Your child will use these daily.
Students will be allowed to keep WATER BOTTLES in the cubby in the classroom. We will take water breaks throughout the day.
Please make sure your child has on TENNIS SHOES every day! Students will not be allowed to participate in certain activities if they are not wearing tennis shoes.
If you would like to help out in the classroom, we could always use PAPER TOWELS, TISSUES, ANTIBACTERIAL WIPES, and DRY ERASE MARKERS (fine tip, black).

If your child is absent, you will need to complete an Absence Verification Form.
Lunch & Recess
We eat lunch at 11:06 each day, and we have recess at 11:31. We will not have snack time because of our early lunch time.

Accelerated Reader
Students pick a book at their own level and read it at their own pace. When students finish the book, they take a short quiz on the computer to check their understanding.
As students read and take quizzes, they earn points and track their progress toward their individualized Accelerated Reader goals.
A student must meet the quarterly goal to receive a quarterly reward. A student must meet the year end goal by the beginning of May to attend the year end AR party.
AR Quizzes can be taken from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays.
