Escambia County School District encourages students to read over the summer! On this page, you will find links to e-books, audiobooks, magazines and newspapers, interactive literacy websites, and book lists.

We challenge each of our students to record their reading minutes in Beanstack and earns rewards and prizes for themselves and their schools with this year's Level Up with Summer Reading Challenge. Our goal is to read at least 2,000,000 minutes across the district this summer!

This year students will get to select 2-4 books to read over the summer and those attending summer school will get to select 2-4 additional books to read this summer! Schools will also host reading events to engage and encourage our students to read this summer. Contact your student's school to find out more information.
