dare the monkey review

Dare the monkey! I recently picked this mobile game to review, and it is a great platformer! this modern day platformer is a great casual game to pick up and start playing as soon as it is downloaded

gameplay

one of the many cool things about this game is the simple, yet fun and addicting. all you do is just dodge things, jump up, collect bananas and coins! there are several gameplay modes to choose from, some of them you need coins to play, and that might take you a while. the unlockable game modes are fun, but my favorite is by far the regular mode you start out with. it has many maps and little things on every level, and the scenes are different for each. the graphics are sharp for a mobile phone and they look very cute. I particularly like the elephants introduced on level 3. the blue they are in for sure makes them look good. there are plenty of levels to keep you entertained wherever you go for years to come.

controls

one of my favorite things about the game is the controls. the simple one touch controls make it simple to play the game. all you have to do to play is tap. this makes it so you can play with ease, no gaming skills required whatsoever. the controls on the game are superbly easy, which helps make it a great game

flaws

although this game is great, there are some drawbacks. first of all, the ads. I know that ads are nececary to fund lots of games, but there are a few too many of them. because lots of them are unskippable, it takes 30 seconds to play some ads, but if you play offline this crisis is easily averted. another thing that irks me about the game is the 3d. the 3d looks 3d, but it is not quite as three dimensional as I would like it. the gameplay is amazing however, and there Is nothing wrong with the core game, just maybe fewer ads.

my verdict

personally, I think this game is totally worth downloading. it has great graphics, and you can either play it every once in a while when you are bored, or you can obsess over the game and play it every second of every minute of every day. although it has a lot of ads, it is worth a download
