Routine and structure are key components to the success of our students. During this very difficult time of remote / hybrid learning, it is important to maintain a schedule as close as possible to in-person learning. Students should be expected to wake up at normal school time, get dressed and have breakfast just as if they would if they were in the school building. They should also be encouraged to establish a quiet place with a table to complete their academic work and participate in our Google Meet lessons. Students are expected to have the school supplies needed to complete their assignments. If you are not able to obtain the necessary supplies, please contact me for assistance. Attendance and completion of assignments are required for successful completion of the school year.
Homework assignments must be completed and turned in the following school day. Any assignments that are incomplete will be completed during free time. Any assignments that are not complete must be submitted by the end of the week otherwise a zero will be given for the assignment.
** This policy will be modified to accommodate the remote schedule
The highest grade a late homework assignment can receive is 70%. If there are extenuating circumstances, parents/guardians may contact me via home communication book, Remind or by phone.
