Be respectful!
This means you should always be kind to others, yourself, and materials in the classroom.
For example, no name calling, keep negative comments to yourself, and listening while others are talking.
Virtual Respect:
Mute your microphone
Speak clearly/respectfully
Raise your hand/use hand emoji
Be prepared!
Be on time for class.
Be sure to have your materials.
Virtual Preparedness:
Device Charged
Have a Pen/Pencil
Have materials out and ready for the specific class (example: calculator)
Be Positive (Virtual & In Person)
Be an active participant. You do not always have to be right, but you do have to try!
Try your best and encourage others to do the same.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Understand that we all make mistakes. What can you learn from them?
Be Responsible
Be Present! Absent students can make up written work, but they can never make up a missed classroom experience.
For Live Class Sessions: BE ON TIME!
Ask for Help!
Complete your assignments on time. Do not submit blank work, we can tell.
If we are teaching virtually or in person, please follow all of the rules set by the Ellenville Middle School!
See ECSD Code of Conduct
Please see Google Classroom for homework policies
Please see Google Classroom for grading policies as this is course specific.
You can manage your children's progress with the SchoolTool Parent Portal. However, Google Classroom grades are often what is most up to date. Parents should regularly check their student's virtual classrooms.
What is the SchoolTool Parent Portal?
Our Academic Management System, SchoolTool, offers the SchoolTool Parent Portal. Parent Portal gives parents access to monitor their children's progress in school and provides a way for parents to get secure online information about their children.
To register for the Parent Portal, please contact your child's main office.
