Every year, new clubs are created by students to cater to specific interests and ideas that others would like to be involved in. Find out how you can create your unique club at El Camino!
Clubs are exceptionally easy to establish through El Camino's Student Council, run by Mrs. Kiamanesh. Below are guidelines for your new club and links to get you started.
New clubs can be accepted the first 10 weeks of Fall Semester and first 5 weeks of 2nd semester.
Read the document, "How to Start a Club," very carefully
Club Charter Forms and Constitutions must be turned in to Co-Directors of Clubs, Imani Geck (122658@ecrchs.org) AND Aliyah Balbuena (122628@ecrchs.org) the appropriate deadline.
Clubs will be unauthorized to meet until their Charters and Constitutions have been turned in and approved by Student Council.
Clubs are to take meeting minutes and send them in each week to the Co-Directors of Clubs, Imani Geck (122658@ecrchs.org) AND Aliyah Balbuena (122628@ecrchs.org) Fundraisers must be approved by Student Council two weeks before the event.
All clubs have the option to create a Google Website to put their information on. This website will be shared with the Co-Directors of Clubs, Imani Geck (122658@ecrchs.org) AND Aliyah Balbuena (122628@ecrchs.org) to be monitored. There must be no inappropriate content on these websites.
Club presidents must create a short 30-60 second introduction video about their club and send it to the Co-Directors of Clubs, Imani Geck (122658@ecrchs.org) AND Aliyah Balbuena (122628@ecrchs.org) to placed on this Club website.
