Congratulations to Courtney Bunch Phelps for being selected as the official athletic trainer of the Annual NC-SC Shrine Bowl! She builds a relationship with each student-athlete and goes above and beyond to personalize her care for them to keep them healthy and competing! Her passion, dedication and advocacy is unmatched! Being able to provide an athletic trainer to our schools and those across the region is made possible by our valued partner ECU Health Chowan Hospital - thank you!

Edenton Chowan Schools Prize Patrol surprised two of our staff this morning with Teacher of the Year and Instructional Assistant of the Year. We are proud to announce Mrs. Casey Spear as the 2023 North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) CTE Teacher of the Year for Edenton-Chowan Schools. 

The NCCAT CTE Teacher of the Year process was developed to honor and retain excellent CTE teachers and education leaders in North Carolina public schools and public charter schools.
