Hey, welcome to my website! I am a postdoctoral fellow at the National Council of Applied Economic Research under the National Data Innovation Centre. My research delves into the intersection of climate, environment, and development, leveraging granular data to uncover insights and drive impactful solutions. I did my Ph.D. from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, New Delhi. My Ph.D. dissertation aimed to understand and address issues related to environment, climate change, and agriculture (with a special focus on Indian economy).
“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”- Robert Swan. Pollution, water shortages, natural resource depletion, loss of biodiversity, food scarcity, and extreme weather are just a few of the problems our planet is facing as a result of climate change. As a resident of Delhi, I miss the clear skies, clean air, and lush green spaces. I see traffic congestion, poor waste management, and the unplanned concretization of my city. We are experiencing an elongated N-shaped Kuznets curve (continued environmental degradation) for the capital. I am an environmental enthusiast and an ardent supporter of Go Green. I have a keen interest in environmental and climate change economics and want to work with people who work hard to save the environment in collaborative manner.
I have assisted the professors at the Delhi School of Economics as a TA for courses in microeconomic theory and climate change economics. I have also taught microeconomics to B.A.-L.L.B. students at National Law University, Odisha, as a guest teacher.
