The LSF Mural project was an initiative by the Students' Anti-Discrimination Committee to display the Langue des Signes alphabet with the hopes of encouraging learning and acceptance of the language. To achieve the project we coordinated closely with both Service Technique and Design teachers from the planning stage to ensure that our project was feasible. Once we had a feasible plan students worked together to create the designs of the mural and order the other necessary equipment for installation. Through Fab Lab we tested our initial designs and eventually cut our final pieces in 3mm MDF. Lastly, a larger group of students worked together to assemble the connecting columns of letters before handing the pieces to Service Technique for the final installation.
The art used for the puzzle originally came from a project one of my friends did in art class. This assignment was an introduction to vector art, where my friend took a screenshot from a music video and converted it by hand into vector art. When this friend's birthday came around, I had the idea to convert their art piece into a puzzle. Using Techsoft 2D I created a CAD file for the puzzle piece layout, and for a box to store the pieces. To design the box, I used a rough structure from a box I have at home, but altered the dimensions to make it a square and be large enough to fit all the puzzle pieces. I calculated the total volume of the puzzle pieces and used that to determine the minimum height for a box of the dimensions that I wanted, and then added a few centimetres margin to account for all the air between puzzle pieces when they are packed into a box randomly. Mr. Moreau sent the art piece to get printed and stuck the printed piece onto card, which we then laser cut the puzzle board out of. I laser cut the box and glued it together, put the puzzle pieces in and handed it over to my friend for their birthday. Thanks to Mr. Moreau, Sebastien and Mr. Bain for their help in this project.

Objective : Campus des Nations Architercture
Integrate environmentally friendly elements into the design of a new Campus des Nations. MN's commitment to sustainability went beyond conceptualisation, as he meticulously designed the entire system using CAD software. This hands-on approach allowed him to translate his architectural vision into tangible models of sustainable architecture. The precision of the laser cutter enabled intricate detail to be achieved, ensuring that every element of the design contributed to a green and energy-efficient space. By combining the conceptualisation of sustainable practices with the practical application of modern manufacturing techniques, this project is a testament to the transformative power of architecture and sustainability when approached with a practical and innovative mindset.

"Lazer Candles" was founded by NBN, a student specializes in creating LED candle holders out of veneer walnut wood using laser printing technology. The designs of the candle holders are inspired by the missions and goals of a world-renowned charity called "Save the children". The mission is to create awareness about "Save the Children" from the products as well as raise money by selling the products and donating a portion to them in order to help them reach their goals.
Objective : Campus des Nations celebrated Diwali on November 13 and November 14 2023 .There was a Photo-booth stall where students tried out various Indian costume accessories and created memories with their friends and the photo frames designed by FabLab Nations were used for this .
Objective : conceptions des plaques pour championnat ADSIR avec la possibilité de garder les coupes pour une durée de 9 ans grace à un système de plaques modulables.
Objective : Labels for garden plots stating class names requested by Garden committee.
Objective : Making a pair of wings to wear as accessories to a costume. The wings will be worn on the back with a mount structure similar to a backpack, and the larger wing element can be removed from the mounting structure. Additionally, the feathers of the wings will be flap structures (made of paper, not actual feather) activated by a manual pull, so that they can change appearance. The feathers will also be removeable from the solid inner wing structure, and the whole can pack flat.
Objective : être en mesure de modéliser le principe d’induction électromagnétique au travers d’une maquette simple ou les différents éléments sont facilement identifiables.
