MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS
“Mental health is a state of wellbeing in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.”
World Health Organization, 2018
Ecole Nour Al-Eman promotes child and adolescent mental health through implementing school-based programs and projects. The school caregivers are on the frontline in providing support and guidance to the community to access mental health and wellbeing services.
School-based social and emotional learning programs are among the most effective promotion strategies to tackle the need for mental health support.
