Supriya Samanta is a microbiology professional based in Kolkata, currently associated with Eminent College of Management and Technology, Barasat, West Bengal as Assistant Professor. She holds an M.Sc. in Microbiology from the Institute of Genetic Engineering, MAKAUT (2021-2023) and a B.Sc. in General Science (Botany, Zoology, Physiology) from Uluberia College, University of Calcutta (2013-2015).

Supriya has completed several specialized certifications, including courses in Human Molecular Genetics from IIT Kanpur, Dairy and Food Processing from IIT Kharagpur, and NABL training. She also gained hands-on experience during a 10-month OJT at Peerless Hospital in the Cardiac OPD and Emergency Medicine Department, and a 6-month internship in Pathology and Microbiology at Spandan Hospital. Additionally, she received formal skill training as a Cardiac Care Technician under the National Skill Qualification Framework, completing the course at Level-4. 

In addition to her medical and microbiology training, Supriya has pursued a diploma in Advanced Therapeutic Hatha and Raj Yoga and IT Applications. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, she is committed to career growth in the microbiology field.
