RESPONSIBILITIES IN BANKING

• Worked in foreign exchange department and responsible for executing and checking overseas remittances requests of customers.

• Handling overall operations with respect to home loans and personal loans.

• Providing information to the customers about the various schemes available on mutual funds offered by different asset management companies.

• Worked in Trade Finance Department for 9 years and gathered experience in both Export and Import operations.

• Conducted a thorough analysis of the credibility status of the company bases on various accounting reports who have applied for overdrafts and bank guarantee facilities.

• Opening DMAT accounts and responsible for executing transactions with respect to purchase and sale of shares in DMAT accounts.

• Conducting detailed analysis of the exceptional report and identity the current and savings accounts having irregular transactions.

• Reviewing the performance of various accounts to which overdraft or other facilities are provided.

• Preparing and forwarding statistical reports to the respective head office and various regulatory authorities.

• Ensuring efficient handling of portfolio for 100 customers having dealings with the bank for more than 2.5 million rupees.

• Monitoring entire process related to the preparation of regulatory report for high value, unusual, suspected money-laundering transactions of customers thus take appropriate steps to get acquainted with the risk management steps to be taken by the bank.

• Maintaining MIS with respect to the Wealth Management System of the bank.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN ACADEMICS

• Worked in Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), Kolkata, as a Research Analyst and worked from September 2018 to October 2019.

• Composing curriculum and study materials for GAFA (Global Applied Financial Analyst) course for Fundamental Analysis, Financial Management and Equity Research papers

• Worked in Techno India Institute of Technology, Kolkata as an Assistant Professor from November 2019 to December 2019 and was responsible for teaching BBA and MBA students.

• Guiding MBA final semester students for preparing dissertations based on the topics in finance.

• Working as a as Professor at Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata since December 2019 and responsible for teaching ‘Financial Derivatives’ and ‘International Finance’ at the final semester of MBA and PGDM course.

• Selected for setting question paper for ‘Financial Derivatives’ in the semester examination for MAKAUT.
