• Campus Safety-For on-campus residential students, you will receive your room key.

• Virtual Orientation Programs-You will be required to complete these if you have not done so prior to arrival on campus.

College is an amazing and often life-changing experience; however, we recognize that this period of transition is not without its academic and personal stressors. Join your Wellness Services staff to learn about the support available for all students through the offices of Student Outreach and Support (SOS), Counseling Services, Health Services, and Advocacy and Prevention. Each of us has a role to play in creating a safe, respectful, and nonviolent community. During this interactive program, you will learn about how you can best care for yourself, someone in need, and what to do if you or a friend needs help on campus and how to intervene to help you successfully navigate Winter Term and beyond!

A Student Peer Mentor will lead a presentation that prepares incoming students for academic success. This session will focus on basic academic skills including proper email etiquette, using Moodle, and how to act as a college student.

Meet at the Mailboxes

Peer into the shadows and mysteries of Florida's “Sunshine City” on a candlelight walking tour of downtown St. Petersburg. Hear true ghost stories of wandering spirits, haunted mansions, phantom lovers, and age old curses. Join our costumed tour guides for a leisurely stroll along St. Petersburg’s quaint streets and beautiful waterfront.

Embark on a serene cruise and experience the best of Boca Ciega Bay. Whether you are looking for playful dolphins or admiring the scenic beauty of Eckerd’s Coastline, enjoy this unique college experience. The Waterfront Staff will host an information session over lunch.
