1. Students with a temperature of 100° or higher will be sent home. The student may return to school once there is no fever for a full 24 hours without the use of medication to lower the fever.
2. Students will be sent home if they vomit or have diarrhea during school. If the student is vomiting or has diarrhea during the night or before school, do not send the student to school. Call the student in sick. The student may return to school once there is no vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours.
3. A student maybe sent home if there are other symptoms present or at the nurse's discretion. Such symptoms include inflamed throat, persistent cough, difficulty breathing, ect.
4. Parents may choose to bring a Dr. note with instructions for the school to follow regarding an illness. If the student is sent home by the nurse, it will be an excused absence. If you choose to pick the student up it is considered an unexcused absence.

4. Los padres pueden optar por traer una nota del Dr. con instrucciones que la escuela debe seguir con respecto a una enfermedad. Si la enfermera envía al estudiante a casa, será una ausencia justificada. Si elige recoger al estudiante, se considera una ausencia injustificada.
