Room 120 432-456-2112
Senior photo appointments are available on campus with OHS Photography. Photo sessions are $25. We can accept cash, check (made out to OHS Yearbook), or money order only. Students need to come to room 120 to make their appointments themselves. We prefer to work with them to find a place in their schedule that works best so they miss as little class-time as possible. Payment will not be accepted until the time of the photo appointment, after taking the photo. Accommodations for modifications to the provided wear for the photos can be made. We can talk about them while making the appointment.
All Students -
Perform all grooming and styling before you arrive. We have a mirror for touch-ups, but not a full styling facility. We do have a changing room on site.
Tuxedo/Suit -
We provide the jacket, dress shirt, and tie. You need to bring a white or light colored t-shirt free of any large or stand-out logos or graphics on the front to wear under the provided dress shirt.
Drape -
We provide the red drape. You need to bring a strapless bra, tube top, some type of clothing that will leave your shoulders bare for the photo.
Parents -
You are more than welcome to attend your students photo session. Please ensure you arrive early so that you can find parking and are able to check into the Welcome Center at the front of the school. They can also direct you to the classroom for the appointment.
After the photo is edited and touched-up, a high-quality image will be emailed to the student's personal email address that was provided when setting the appointment. When the student pays for the photo session, they will also receive a photo release form that can be used to prove ownership of the photo to allow for printing at an outside print shop. We do not have the facilities for printing on-site. Students will also be allowed free retakes, within reason, after receiving the photo if there is something significant that needs to be improved in the photo. Small errors in the editing process can be fixed. Student photographers assist with all aspects of the process. All retake requests must be made before the final due date for senior yearbook photos at the end of the first semester. The photo will be used in the yearbook, on the screen at graduation, and by the school and district when your student or graduate is recognized for their accomplishments. The photos are not shown while graduates are walking the stage to receive their diplomas; only before the ceremony begins as parents, friends, and family are arriving and finding their seats. During the ceremony, a live camera feed from the field is shown to give loved ones a better view. Yearbook staff will also be present during graduation taking photos of the graduates as they leave the stage, capturing the moments of final celebration with their favorite teachers. A link to the photos is provided through @yourohsyearbook on Instagram a few days after the graduation ceremony. All senior portraits for the yearbook are due at the end of the first semester, the week we go on Winter Break. Photos for use at graduation are due at the beginning of April, after students return from Spring Break. Photos taken for the yearbook are reused at graduation. Retakes can be taken for graduation, but they require a new appointment and new payment. Photos of the students receiving their diplomas from the campus and district administrators and School Board are contracted through an outside company.
