Episodes!

In our first episode, we focus on the transition into form lll. Some topics we cover are after school activities, making friends, orientation and more! We speak about the transition for both new students and for students graduating Fieldston Middle and moving to the Upper School.  

This episode goes into detail about how to pick classes for form III. We go through the course catalog and give suggestions and advice based on our Freshman year. Most classes in form III are required but you have the option to select classes such as arts or ethics. 

In this third episode, we give tips and tricks on time management and study strategies. We discuss some of the best and worst study habits and the different recourses available to students to help reduce stress when it comes to academics. 

In this episode, we share advice on how to start the school year strong from the very first day.  We discuss how to get acquainted with your peers and teachers and give suggestions based on our successes and failures during freshman year. 

In episode 5, we discuss the many different ways you can spend your free periods. From productive frees to coffee runs, frees can look different depending on the day. Regardless of how you spend your frees, it is great to have a break from your regularly scheduled classes. 

This episode takes a deep dive into the nitty gritty of arts at Fieldston. From the art requirement to breaking down exactly what an art major is this episode covers it all.  

This episode explains the language department at Fieldston. We discuss the requirements, and the different classes offered, and even feature a special guest to give a faculty member's perspective on the department. 

This episode goes into detail about how to pick classes for form IV. We go through the variety of classes offered to sophomores and give suggestions and advice based on our experiences.

This episode highlights City Semester: Fieldston’s one-of-a-kind in-house semester away program. We discuss the program's logistics and our takeaways as alums, including our favorite field trips and projects. We also hear from Mr. Blumenfeld, our featured guest, and the program director, as he shares his insights into City Semester.
