Palakkad, 22 April 2026 – The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) organized a one-day technical visit to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad, offering students and faculty members a firsthand experience of world-class research infrastructure in high-performance computing, data science, control systems, and wireless communication.
A delegation comprising final-year and postgraduate students, accompanied by faculty members from the CSE department, toured several prominent laboratories and research facilities at IIT Palakkad. The visit was aimed at fostering academic collaboration, exposing students to cutting-edge technologies, and inspiring innovative research initiatives.
The delegation explored the following state-of-the-art facilities:
Chandra – High-Performance Computing Cluster (HPC)
A powerful computing cluster designed for parallel processing and computationally intensive research.
