The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, EASA College of Engineering and Technology, organized an Alumni Interaction Session on 10 June 2026 at B-302. The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into higher education opportunities and career preparation after completing their B.E. degree.
The session featured Mr. Akshay Krishna T R (Register No. 720521104007), an alumnus of the 2021–2025 Batch, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, as the resource person. Addressing his juniors, Mr. Akshay Krishna shared his experiences and discussed the various academic and professional pathways available to engineering graduates. He elaborated on the higher education options available after B.E. and emphasized the importance of continuously upgrading technical skills to enhance employability and secure placement opportunities in a competitive job market.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Abhijit V, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering, who highlighted the significance of alumni interactions in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. He encouraged students to actively engage with alumni and learn from their experiences.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who interacted with the speaker and gained valuable guidance regarding career planning, skill development, and future prospects.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Arjun S, Final Year CSE, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, faculty members, and students for making the programme a meaningful and successful one.
