Blocking is when dancers practice where they stand and move on stage during the show.
It helps everyone learn their spacing, entrances, exits, and formations so the performance runs smoothly on stage.
Level 1–6, Homeschool Dance Academy, and Adult classes all have scheduled blocking times.
Sprouts, Blooms, and Pre-Ballet classes do not have blocking schedules and should simply arrive at their assigned show time.
Blocking Schedule Guidelines
Please be checked in, ready, and seated in the auditorium 15 minutes before your scheduled blocking time.
A teacher will come get dancers from the auditorium when it is their turn.
Parents will wait in the lobby during blocking,. This process moves quickly 😊
Level 4-6: Call time 8:30am (All 4-6 classes except Hip Hop 4-6-they come on Sunday)
Level 1-3: Call time at 11:45am
