Words of Advice from previous 6th grade classes:
Always use your calendar because it will help you out.
Be ready because you have to make sure you keep up with your grades in all classes, keep up with classwork, and mostly have fun and enjoy it while you are here.
Take your time when doing your work and actually study.
Do all your work pay attention in class.
Never give up!
Don't procrastinate.
Do your work and create a bond with your teachers, and ask your parents or teachers for help because asking for help is better than struggling to pull up grades and do assignments.
Always be positive, and then you'll learn and be happy your classes.
Just be prepared, because it can be a lot of work but if you are organized and keep track of all of your work, you will be fine.
It will be hard if you don't study or if you don't put in effort.
World History will probably be the best subject you will have this year because of the interesting topics you will learn about and the tools used to discover new topics.
Pay attention and make sure you write down all the important details that are being said. Make sure you check your calendar daily if you are absent and don't know what to do. Don't test your teacher's patience by acting out to get other people's attention. Lastly, be kind and treat EVERYONE with respect (even your peers and friends).
Don't stress. You will have good days and you will have bad days, but as long as you stay on top of your work, you will be good.
Be prepared to face adversity a tough times, because it's going to happen, but at the end of it you're going to be a better person and student.
