6th Grade Advanced Science
Course Description: In this class, we will investigate science from the smallest particles and elements to Newton’s Laws to cells and how they apply to our everyday lives and many more topics. These units are designed to build a foundation of learning and investigation that will serve the students in the following units.
Quarter 1- Periodic Table and Cells
Quarter 2- Populations and Resources and Matter & Energy in Ecosystems
Quarter 3- Force & Motion and Magnetic Fields
Quarter 4- Earth, Moon & Sun, Sound & Light Waves
