Hi everyone! I am so excited to for Science! I was born in Lafayette, and have lived in Baton Rouge since I was 6. I have attended Baton Rouge public schools from 1st- 12th grade and graduated from the Medical Magnet Program at Belaire High School. I then began my journey at LSU where I earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences, Masters in Secondary Education and a Specialists Certification in Science Education. I have began work on and hope to one day complete my Ph.D. I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband Jonathan. We have 2 children, our daughter Sophie is in 6th grade here at Sherwood and our son Gavin is in 4th grade at Shenandoah Elementary. We also have 3 hamsters, a dog, and a Betta fish. This is my 18th year of teaching and my 16th year teaching at Sherwood! I love what I do and I love SMAMS! Go Falcons!
