My name is Yvonne Buras, I live in Darrow. I graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s in Science in Education, and I have a Masters in Special Education. I am highly qualified in middle school math and certified to teach 1st-9th grade in all subjects.

I was a full time, stay at home mom for 12 years before I went back to teaching. I have two sons, Alex, a 25-year-old, and Sean, a 22-year-old. My daughter Molly, is a Freshman at LSU. I am also a proud mom to three mini tea cup Chihuahua.
I love my student’s and I want them to know I am always there for them. I think it is important that everyone knows, that they can succeed and shine when they try. I believe every child can learn to be a success. We just have to figure out how to reach them.
