Class overview

Welcome to Eighth Grade Math!

I am delighted to have the privilege of teaching your child 8th grade math this year! Together, we will work hard, have fun, explore challenges, and learn new material in preparation for your child’s upcoming high school years. I have high expectations for each student with their success as my utmost priority.

I am happy to have you be a part of our school family!! I am very excited to share this experience of teaching and learning with all of you.

This year in 8th Grade Mathematics, the students will receive a standards-based education that not only teaches the Common Core Standards, but also continuously assesses student understanding. We will use the Eureka textbook as a framework, but will also work on activities and projects outside of the book. I look forward to working with you all.
