My name is Nahid Hamdan. I am a certified teacher in Elementary Education 1-5 and Middle school Math. Also I am a Google Certified For Educator Level 1. I graduated from The University of Jordan with a bachelor’s degree in science, and I have taught classes ranging from elementary to high school for 8 years.My career as a teacher has afforded me the opportunity to instruct a wide range of students. As a reflective and self-motivated teacher, I remain a highly reflective educator who fully understands the importance of flexibility and accommodation within curriculum development, and its importance on fostering student success. My classroom is one that is cultivated as a social community of learning as I feel it is imperative that children have an active role within their own education. With this being said, I strive to create a classroom that is based on trust and individuality where children are not afraid to make mistakes and ask questions. Students are continually encouraged to help each other, evaluate their own work and become more causative over their own learning and ultimately more motivated in the process.I believe that a strong classroom is one that is built on mutual respect and trust. With this being said, I strive to uphold a solid classroom management plan that ensures consistency and follow- through. Students understand that I value them as individuals and they know that I will work with them to ensure their success.
