Short Bio:

The greatest asset that I bring to the awesome Class of 2K23 is almost 20 years of experience in education.

A New Orleans native, I moved to BR after graduating high school to attend LSU (Bachelor in Mass Communication) and decided to stay. I later obtained certification to teach English Language Arts (grades 6-12) and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision (Southern University).

As of today, I've taught every English course imaginable while serving students at East Feliciana/Jackson High, Baker High, Belaire High, Broadmoor High, Scotlandville High and TRiO Upward Bound; Yearbook but ended last year supporting teachers as a Master Teacher and ELA Content Leader (EFHS).

Nonetheless, I'm filled with love for my children, Cierra (22) and RJ (17), my granddaughter, Amiyah (2), and my husband of 21 years, Richard.
