Greetings!

My name is Mrs. Danette Holmes. I am the RN/Coordinator here at Glen Oaks Magnet High School. I have been a Registered Nurse for 28 years and counting. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University School of Nursing. I chose the medical profession because I love helping people. Presently I will be teaching Patient Care Technician and Emergency Medical Responder. I have been teaching for 4 years. I decided to teach because I wanted to be able to be a part of educating someone to become someone phenomenal and help to accomplish their dreams. I am married with 3 children. My youngest is now a graduating senior!! Know that I am always here for you and support you in your endeavors.
