At the center of our studies will be the use of Document-Based Questions (DBQs). A DBQ requires students to think critically, analyzing primary and secondary source documents with the expected end to establish a claim and produce a well-written argument in support of the claim.
Our students will work with DBQs through the DBQ Online Project, a Tier I resource provided by the district and supported by the Louisiana Department of Education. These efforts prepare our students for competitive academic discourse and college and career readiness.Â
