Important Announcement: Capitol Middle Magnet School Merger

Dear Capitol Middle Magnet Families,

We want to inform you that beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, Capitol Middle Magnet School will merge with Capitol High School to form a unified 6–12 grade campus. This strategic alignment is part of the district’s continued efforts to strengthen academic programming, streamline resources, and create a more seamless educational experience for students.

It has truly been a pleasure to serve the students, families, and staff of Capitol Middle Magnet. Over the past years, we have worked hard to build a positive and nurturing environment where students could grow both academically and personally. I am incredibly proud of the achievements and relationships built within our school community.

As we prepare for this new chapter, I encourage families to stay connected through official district communications and updates. I have full confidence that this transition will bring exciting opportunities for our students as they continue their journey on the Capitol campus.
