The participants in this project are grouped in several categories:
Students selected for exchanges (6 Students from each country aged 15-19) constitute a work group which are active during the whole project. Before each LTTA, they have undergone preparatory modules that have equipped them with the knowledge needed for the successful participation. They communicated with their peers online before the event and then face to face during exchanges. They have prepared presentations and activities for guest students in the LTTA hosted by their school. They have also prepared feedback and assessment forms with the help of their teachers, as well as cooperated with foreign students in fulfillment tasks. After the exchanges, the direct exchange participants have performed similar activities with their colleagues in the target group, during workshops of transfer of knowledge and practice. Materials have been created and compiled for dissemination.
The other students as Target Groups are the dissemination ones. They have performed similar activities as the participants in the workshops organized after exchanges. They also bring their contribution to the organization of exchanges hosted in their school–cultural activities, sightseeing tours, thus bringing their own contribution and feeling valorized. They interact with guests and profit from the experience.
Project team teachers, approximately 12, are involved in the specific duties of their position in the team. Coordinators have communicated with the partners, established local action plans, set deadlines for the local teams, distributed responsibilities, organized team meetings, and monitored the activities.
Dissemination responsible teachers coordinate the dissemination stage of the project after each LTTA, maintain the relation with the local media, produce and store dissemination evidence.
Evaluation responsible people apply evaluation tools, collect and interpret data which is reported to the coordinating partner at the end of each year.
Financially responsible people do the paperwork, handle the money transfers in line with the contract signed by the National Agency. Some of these also accompany students in exchanges. Their selection for exchanges is made in agreement with all project members.
Other teachers in the school play key roles in coordinating the students’ activities. These are ICT teachers, Physics Teachers, Arts and Language teachers, Geography and History, etc. The school management collaborate closely with the project team and identify and distribute resources, participate actively in exchanges to give a formal character to the partnership.
Parents are mostly involved in some preparatory activities organized in the schools or as target groups in dissemination.
Local authorities attend meetings with participants during LTTAs.
Local experts in energy production share their knowledge and expertise with participants and participate in the closing ceremony at the end of the exchange.
