History
The idea for this club was born from a previous Churchill Club known as Asteroid Club, which allowed members to hunt for asteroids! Unfortunately, the club soon became discontinued. This inspired much of the Executive Board to take a stand and start our own new chapter with our local East Brunswick Public Library! We plan on teaching engaging material about astronomy and astrophysics, have hands-on activities, and much more!

Who we are
We are all students who find the field of astronomy an amazing field because of its beautiful complexity. Having come from a background of astronomy competitions, asteroid club, taking Astronomy at EBHS, or simply finding it an amazing field and found it fun to learn in 8th Grade Science's Astornomy Unit, we all came here together to share with everyone at the EBPL our passion!

Taken Astronomy at EBHS
I've been interested in astronomy since I was young, so when my own younger sister decided she also wanted to study astronomy, I realized that younger kids needed people to help cultivate their interest and teach them more about the topic that fascinates us all so much. I hope that our club gives them experience with the subject and motivates them to continue pursuing astronomy as their career.
