Q1 Registration open date?
A1 May 29th 12:00PM on schedule for Japanese participants.
Q2 Is International shipping available? Can I get the simulator in my country?
A2 Absolutely YES!. But, we need your support on CUSTOM PROCESS. The difficulties of Custom clearance is depends on each country's policy.
Q3 How many seats available?
A3 24 seats available. First come first served basis.
Q4 How can I pay my registration fee?
A4 You will receive an invoice by email after the application deadline. Please proceed with payment by the due date.We cannot accept any request of refund or cancel.
Q5 How can I use the TM3 simulator?
A5 Check tutorial movie. Click here.
Q6 Are there any requirements for participation?
A6 Yes. Target participants are medical students or surgeons up to 6years post graduation.（卒後６年目まで（医学生含む））
Q7: I participated in the first DBO and have the kit, can I reduce the entry fee?
A8: The kit has been upgraded this time, so you need to use the new one as other competitors. No reduction is possible
Q8: I am a mainly aiming at coronary artery surgery. can I participate?
A8: If you are NOT aiming to become a distal bypass surgeon in the future, we kindly ask you to refrain from participating in the Distal bypass Competition, as it will the narrow selection of one or two finalists. We encourage you to attend the Competition in Coronary Artery.
Q9: I cannot predict my work schedule for Sep 9, but I would like to participate.
A9: Please consult with your supervisor and make sure that you will be able to participate in the finals on Sep 9, before applying.
Q10:I have run out of the suture that was sent as part of the kit. Can I use my own sutures?
A10: Yes, you can use your own thread. For the blood vessel and artery models and simulators, please use the ones specified.
Q11:Can I also submit videos taken without an assistant?
A11:Yes, we accept.
