I became a music teacher to enrich the lives of the youth through the world of music. Music can be impactful in so many aspects of life and I want to help kids understand it. Music became a way for me to escape reality during hard times so if I can help even one kid use it as an outlet, I'll know I've been successful at my job.

When I'm not at school I can usually be found helping out on my parent's farm or spending time with my nieces and nephews. I enjoy watching sporting events, especially anything for the ESC Raiders and the ISU Cyclones!!
