Welcome to my teacher website! My name is Allison Schroeder. This is my 17th year teaching and my third year teaching in Special Education. Previous grades that I have taught include: preschool, kindergarten, 2nd Grade at Des Moines Public Schools, and 3rd Grade at East Sac County. At ESC I also am a TLC Mentor Teacher for 1st and 2nd year teachers.

About Me!
I am originally from Des Moines and graduated from Carlisle High School, while my husband, Keith, is from Odebolt. Years ago, we decided to trade the busy, fast-growing Des Moines suburbs for country life, and we haven't looked back! (Well...I do miss all the shopping and my family but we are not to far away ❤️)
We live on an acreage between Sac City and Lake View with our three kids—Derek (8th grade), Mckenna (6th grade), and Lauren (2nd grade). Our home is complete with goats, two dogs, and a small army of cats (if you ever need a kitty, let me know!). Outside of teaching, our athletic family stays busy playing sports, golfing together, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.
