About Me

Hi there! My name is Ali Schroeder. This is my 20th year as a classroom teacher. I love this age and what I teach! I grew up in this area graduating high school from Odebolt-Arthur in 2000. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I had many great influences to look up to while in school especially in my parents. I am the oldest of 4 and enjoyed playing many sports. I married my high school sweetheart, Kevin, in 2001 then graduated from UNI in 2005, with my teaching certification, all while having our children. We have been married for 25 years and have raised 3 kids. Kevin is a grain farmer and cares for livestock. We live on a farm outside of Lake View. Our oldest daughter, Kylie, graduated from Iowa State with a Marketing degree and got married to her husband, Kurt. They have two beautiful daughters Lainey and Brekyn. Our second daughter, Emma, just graduated from Iowa State with her Early Child Education certification and just got married to Caleb this summer. They have a beautiful daughter named Lottie. Our son, Logan, just graduated from Iowa Central with an Ag. Business major. He enjoys weight lighting, spending time with his friends, and helping on the farm and just took a bank job as an Ag. loan officer associate. I am not sure where these years went, but I enjoyed many years of coaching my children's various sports, traveling, and building many memories with them on and off of the farm. Now, we are excited to be empty nesters and are embracing our next stage of life as grandparents!
