What's a School Counselor?
A school counselor is a certified professional who supports students with academic planning, career readiness, and personal development. They assist students and families by helping with class selection, college prep, stress management, and conflict resolution. Acting as a resource within the building, they provide a structured environment for students to address challenges, develop practical coping skills, and receive guidance to navigate their education successfully.
