In Spanish 4, you will continue to develop your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills with an emphasis on more detailed writings and class discussions. You will recognize some of the vocabulary themes we work with like environment, beach/outdoor activities and travel vocabulary. Important grammatical concepts include the preterite (taught in level 2), imperfect, and future tenses, both of which were touched on in level 3. We will also further discuss the subjunctive mood and learn the “perfect” compound verb tenses this year.
The good news is that once you make it to level 4, we get to slow down a bit! We will expand upon previously examined concepts and explore them on a deeper level. The class will be conducted and you will be expected to use Spanish as much as possible every class period.
