This year we will focus on prehistoric times to the start of history with the development of early human society. We will begin the year with some geography/map skills and continue on to some of the earliest civilizations on the planet. There will not only be a focus on how geographic features such as rivers and mountains influenced where these early civilizations formed, but also how these land features affected the cultures and achievements of these early peoples.
