Meet Ms. Wasilewski

Hello! I’m very excited to be starting my ninth year at Emmaus High School in the Math Department for this upcoming school year!

Background:

I’m originally from Newtown, PA in Bucks County. I still have family that live there so I go back to visit often. I have one sister who is two and half years older than me.

From the time I was little, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, help students succeed and find the joy in learning. It is my passion and I love every minute of it. After graduating from Council Rock School District in 2008, I went on to attend and graduate from East Stroudsburg University. I have a BS in Mathematics and Secondary Education and a minor in Psychology. I also have my Masters from Wilkes University in Education and Classroom Technology. Before coming to EHS, I taught in the Bethlehem School District, Lower Moreland Township School District and Pennridge High School.

Interests:

In free time, I enjoy reading, catching up on TV shows, watching movies, spending time with my family/friends, being outside at the pool or beach and traveling to new places. I am also the leader of the Junior Bible Quiz Ministry at my church. I have a goal of traveling to all 50 states and I am well on my way! I have traveled to Germany, Czech Republic, China, London, Scotland and numerous islands in the Caribbean. I am also a big country music fan and a big EAGLES fan! (I actually worked at the Lincoln Financial Field during two Eagle Seasons selling the merchandise during the games - it was a fun part-time job!)

I’m looking forward to a great year!
