Welcome to ELA! I'm Mrs. Lynn Dreisbach!
Here's a little bit of personal information so you can get to know me!
I grew up in the small town in NY, and school was a refuge for me. I was actively involved in many school activities. Growing up in a very economically depressed area, I saw that doing well in school was my ticket to achieving my dreams.
I went on to attend Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY, and have since obtained two Masters degrees, one from Cedar Crest College, and one from Wilkes University.
My husband and I have two little boys keeping us busy when I'm not at school.
I want all of YOU to achieve your dreams. With hard work and a good attitude, you can set yourself up for any life you want. I believe that, and I hope you do, too.

Supplies for ELA
You will need the following materials for 8th grade language arts class this year:
One 2-inch 3 Ring Binder
(We do not have an ELA textbook, so the binder is critical for holding all class materials)One package of 5 tab dividers for the binder
Notebook paper for the binder
a 3-Hole Punched 2-Pocket Folder
Students should have a set of headphones or earbuds with a 3.5mm jack (or bluetooth connection) for use with the school issued laptop
Pencils, pens, highlighters, and an eraser
Several packs of post-its
School-issued Assignment Book
School-issued Chromebook
