Mrs. Dreisbach

Welcome to ELA! I'm Mrs. Lynn Dreisbach!

Here's a little bit of personal information so you can get to know me!

I grew up in the small town of Liberty, NY, and school was a refuge for me. I was actively involved in many school activities. Growing up in a very economically depressed area, I saw that doing well in school was my ticket to achieving my dreams.

I went on to attend Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY, and have since obtained two Masters degrees, one from Cedar Crest College, and one from Wilkes University.

My husband, Todd, and I have two little boys: Atreyu and Enabran.

I want all of YOU to achieve your dreams. With hard work and a good attitude, you can set yourself up for any life you want. I believe that, and I hope you do, too.

Supplies for ELA

You will need the following materials for 8th grade language arts class this year:

One 2-inch 3 Ring Binder
(We do not have an ELA textbook, so the binder is critical for holding all class materials)
One package of 5 tab dividers for the binder
Notebook paper for the binder
a 3-Hole Punched 2-Pocket Folder
Students should have a set of headphones or earbuds with a 3.5mm jack (or bluetooth connection) for use with the school issued laptop
Pencils, pens, highlighters, and an eraser
Several packs of post-its
School-issued Assignment Book
School-issued Chromebook
