Welcome to ELA! I'm Mrs. Lynn Dreisbach!
The 2026 - 2027 school year marks my 21st year teaching 8th Grade ELA in Pod 6 at Eyer.
I have a B.A. in English and Humanities from Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY, and two Masters degrees, an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from Cedar Crest College, and an M.S. in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. I am currently working on my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from East Stroudsburg University.
My husband and I have two little boys keeping us busy when I'm not at school.
I want all of YOU to achieve your dreams. With hard work and a good attitude, you can set yourself up for any life you want. I believe that, and I hope you do, too.

Supplies for ELA
You will need the following materials for 8th grade language arts class this year:
A 3 Ring Binder
(We do not have an ELA textbook, so the binder is critical for holding all class materials; you may share the binder with another subject)Notebook paper for the binder or a notebook for notes
a 3-Hole Punched 2-Pocket Folder (to put in the binder)
Students should have a set of headphones or earbuds with a 3.5mm jack for use with the school issued Chromebook
Pencils, pens, highlighters, and an eraser
Several packs of post-its
School-issued Assignment Book
School-issued Chromebook
