Welcome to both 7th grade at Eyer Middle School and most importantly, POD 3!!! We are all excited to be your teachers and to begin a new year. Your Pod 3 teachers have been preparing a year filled with the spirit of adventure in learning, friendship, teamwork and fun. Recommended supplies for Pod 3 students for the 2026-2027 School year:

-Pencils and erasers -Pencil pouch/case -1-subject notebook
-1.5 inch binder -Pack of binder dividers (5 tabs) -4 folders with pockets
-Pack of 3x5 index cards -3x3 Post-it notes -TI 34 multi-view calculator
-Headphones/Earbuds -Black Flair Pens -Highlighter
-Glue stick -Colored pencils
All cell phones are to remain in student lockers/backpacks. If a teacher wants students to use them during a class period, time will be built into the period to go to their lockers. It is expected that student Chromebooks will be charged at home each night in preparation for the next school day.

Fall Field Trip to NYC:
Fall Field Trip to NYC:
We are excited to announce that our 7th grade fall field trip will be to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City (full trip information can be found at this link)! This trip will be on Tuesday, October 20th and the cost is $70. Permission slips were handed out on Sept 11th and both permission slip and money are due on Sept 24th. Students who participated in the mums fundraiser had corresponding amounts deducted from their total and noted on their permission slips.
Cash, check to Eyer Middle School, or online payment using this CheddarUp link are all acceptable.

Interested in being a chaperone? Make sure your clearances are on file with the district, and fill out the interest form (your child can ask Mr. Spadt for this). We look forward to having you join us!
