This year, students will investigate key Earth and space science concepts through OpenSciEd units. In Unit 6.3, they’ll explore how weather and climate are connected through water cycling. Unit 6.4 examines how rock cycling and plate tectonics shape Earth’s surface. In Unit 6.5, students analyze natural hazards to understand and reduce their impact. Unit 7.6 focuses on how humans use natural resources and their effect on Earth systems, and Unit 8.4 explores Earth’s place in space, including the patterns of seasons, moon phases, and eclipses.
