Hi Everyone! I am one of four art teachers at Emmaus High School where I specialize in teaching ceramics. I graduated from Kutztown University where I studied Art Education and Crafts.

My love for clay started in high school when I took my first ceramics class. My high school ceramics teacher and college ceramics professor are some of the most supportive, welcoming, and encouraging people that I have ever met. I strive to be like them for my own students every day.

When I'm not in school I spend my time working on my own ceramic pieces, reading, sewing, baking, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.

What supplies do I need?

Each student needs a spiral bound notebook or sketchbook. It is also recommended to bring an old bath towel or apron to class to help keep your clothes clean. Additionally, like with most classes, you will need your charged Chromebook and something to write with.
