Math
Our math series is called READY Math. Your child will have 2 workbooks in school. One of the workbooks (Practice & Problem Solving Book) contains pages that will be torn our for homework roughly 3 times per week. Please review these pages with your child, and be sure to OBSERVE THE EXAMPLES provided. These workbook pages closely mirror the weekly lesson quizzes. If your child is having difficulty with the homework, please let me know by writing a note on the homework so that I can help.
In addition to what is done in class, please practice addition and subtraction facts up to 20 at home DAILY. Follow your child's Popcorn Math Assessments to see which flashcards he/she should be working on!!
Assessments that will be implemented in math include unit tests, weekly lesson quizzes, and math fact fluency.
