My name is Mrs. Vernon and this is my nineteenth year teaching. I graduated from Kutztown University in May of 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. I began my career in East Penn at Shoemaker teaching fifth grade. After my first year, I moved to second grade where taught for six years and now am in my twelfth year of teaching third grade.
I received my master’s degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University in May of 2012. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy every day of work.
My husband and I have been married for fourteen years! We have two sons, Evan who is 14 years old and is in ninth grade. Owen is 11 years old and is in sixth grade. I love being their mom as they keep me busy with baseball, basketball, etc.
We have two dogs: Rocky is a 11 1/2 year old mutt (bottom) and Philly (laying on top) is our boxer who is 5 years old.
I am a HUGE Eagles fan, and although Mr. Vernon is in this picture with me, he is a Cowboys fan. Football season in my house is an interesting time, especially now as the Philadelphia Eagles are SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS AGAIN!
