Meet Mrs. Spengler

Tanya Spengler is a passionate learning support teacher at Willow Lane Elementary, a position she has held since the school’s opening in 2010. With two decades of teaching experience in the East Penn School District, Tanya has cultivated a deep commitment to her students, particularly those in kindergarten and first grade. Her expertise in learning support has enabled her to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where young learners can thrive.

Throughout her career, Tanya has made significant contributions to the educational community, employing innovative teaching strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of her students. Her dedication to fostering both academic growth and social-emotional development in her classroom has not gone unnoticed, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues, parents, and students alike.

Outside of her professional life, Tanya is a devoted wife to her husband, Mark Spengler, with whom she has shared 20 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they are proud parents to three daughters: Savannah, Jocelynn, and Jamie. The Spengler family enjoys spending quality time together, creating cherished memories that emphasize the importance of family bonds.

Tanya and her family have a special affinity for the Thousand Islands, a destination where they often escape to enjoy nature's beauty and engage in various outdoor activities. Whether it’s walking along scenic trails or hiking through picturesque landscapes, Tanya finds great joy in exploring the great outdoors.

As a sports enthusiast, Tanya is a dedicated fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. She enjoys cheering for her teams, often sharing the excitement of games with her family, further reinforcing the importance of shared experiences and teamwork in both sports and life.
