What I Do

I help my students when they are...

- sad

- scared

- angry

- anxious/stressed/nervous

- having difficulty with their academics

- having trouble at home

- in need of support to navigate social situations with their peers

- etc.

I will...

- advocate for my students' individual needs, equity, and success

- listen when there is a problem

- meet with students individually, in groups, and in the classroom

- work with students, faculty, and parents to help ensure my students' academic, emotional, and vocational success

- keep a secret (unless the secret will hurt that student or someone else)

- help students problem-solve, learn from their mistakes, make good choices, and advocate for themselves

- explore career opportunities with my students

- help all my students do their best
