Hello! I am Mrs. Rivera, the 5th Math and Science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is my sieventh year at Wescosville Elementary, where I will begin my 19th year of teaching. I student taught in East Penn and Bethlehem School District, worked in Reading School District, and more recently, Allentown School District. So, I have come full circle and could not be happier. I recently completed my Master's in Instructional Media with a STEM endorsement. I am currently pursuing another Master's Degree in Educational Development and Strategies with an Instructional Coaching endorsement.

I also have an Art History Degree and have completed graduate work in Ancient Roman Art from Temple University. I was on an archaeological dig in Pompeii, Italy, and even climbed Mt. Vesuvius—an active volcano! I taught English at Summer Camps in Milan, Italy, and worked at Summer Camps in the USA. These experiences made me love teaching children, so I enrolled in Kutztown University's Teaching Program, and here I am today teaching! I love learning and sharing all my knowledge with my students.

I am married and have one very funny and amazing daughter, Olivia. I was lucky to have a father in the Air Force, so I had the chance to travel. I was born in Texas, moved to England, New Jersey, and finally to Pennsylvania. I have had the opportunity to travel to many amazing countries: Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and my favorite country...Italy! That list is not finished...it's just the beginning.

I love coffee, dark chocolate, pizza....and anything Italian.
I love to read...I do...it's not just a teacher thing.
I love traveling, going to the beach, learning about history and art, shopping, watching movies and football, and Target.
My favorite things are spending time with my family, watching Olivia participate in all her activities, going to the gym, and having fun in my classroom!
