As an Elementary Counselor, my role is to work with students, parents, teachers and our administrator to help children succeed. I am concerned with looking at all areas of the child including academic, career, personal and social development. I work to coordinate any necessary community, school and family resources to help each child maximize their potential.
Delivery of these services, may be provided through individual meetings, group activities, and classroom lessons. Lessons and meetings are on various topics such as friendship, social skills, academic skills, changing families, and character education.
